So on Monday, I was working on snatch-pulls. If you don’t know what they are or have never tried them, they are a great way to help increase your PRs.
It’s basically a snatch, but you focus only on the first two movements: the hip thrust and the arm pull. It’s everything except getting under the bar. This helps you practice lifting more weight than you usually can. That’s the key.
So today, we were working on hang power snatches; lovely on the hands I know 🙂
Today, I got a 135# hang power snatch – that’s 15# over my previous one. I’m pretty pumped. And from the looks of the video, I think I could do more 🙂
